Naked (1993) by Mike Leigh -The New Yorker

Has anyone watched Naked (1993) by Mike Leigh before? I watched this fascinating movie a week ago and it still lingers on in my head. The movie is to an extent ambiguous and therefore allows multiple interpretations. Some say it addresses sexual frustration, some say that Johnny is actually improving the lives of the people he encountered. What do you guys think? What else do you see from the film? I would love to know if there are any more ways to understand it. And please recommend me any other movies like this! (I guess loosely speaking Trainspotting is one)
